Following the issuance of an “all-clear” for Cayman Brac and Little Cayman this morning, the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) issued the “all-clear” for Grand Cayman at 1 pm today.
Notwithstanding this, a marine warning remains in effect, as rough seas, swells, and storm surges are possible. As a result, the Government warned the public against marine activity of any kind and advised them to stay away from coastlines.
The Government also advised, “All non-essential government offices in Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands will remain closed today, Thursday 4 July 2024” and “Updates will be provided on reopening times as they become available.”
