Daniel Isais Chisholm appeared in the Summary Court today, December 10, 2024, to face allegations of burglary of C.E.L beauty supplies, damage to property, possession of ganja, possession of a utensil used in the consumption of ganja, and several traffic offences. He entered mixed pleas of “guilty” and “not guilty.” His bail was extended for him to return to the Summary Court on December 17, 2024.
Details of charges
Charge #2013 of 2024 outlined allegations of burglary, damage to property and ganja possession.
Regarding the alleged burglary, it was reported that on November 14, 2024, Chisholm along with three other persons unknown entered the C.E.L Beauty Centre Supplies building on Portland Road and stole $30 worth C.E.L Beauty supplies.
Concerning damage to property, it was alleged that Chisholm caused damage to a glass door at C.E.L Beauty Centre. The estimated value was less than $3,000.
Chisholm pleaded “not guilty” to the C.E.L related charges.
Regarding the alleged possession of ganja, he pleaded guilty.
For the alleged possession of utensil used in the preparation of consumption of ganja, he pleaded “not guilty.”
Charge #1585 of 2023 outlined allegations of dangerous driving, driving without no insurance, leaving a scene and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
Regarding dangerous driving, it was alleged in the Summary Court that on April 10, 2023 , Chisholm drove a Toyota on Shamrock Rod in a manner which was dangerous to the public.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, along with driving without insurance, driving without being qualified, and taking a vehicle belonging to Deandra Jackson without her consent.
Charge #1074 of 2023 reflected allegations of driving without being qualified, using a vehicle with expired registration, using vehicle without a certificate of roadworthiness and speeding. He pleaded guilty to these charges.
Charge #1073 of 2023 involved allegations of possession of ganja and intent to supply. He pleaded guilty to ganja possession and not guilty to intent to supply.
After hearing Chisholm’s guilty pleas, Magistrate Dunn disqualified him from driving from today. His bail was extended to December 17, 2024, when he will be in the Summary Court again.
