Customs and Border Control Service Press Release
The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) confirms a fire was reported at the Bodden Town Civic Center at approximately 8:30 pm on Saturday, 14 December 2024.
The Cayman Islands Fire Service (CIFS) was on the scene and no injuries have been reported.
Alternative arrangements were made for the sixteen migrants currently housed at the Civic Center. This matter is currently under investigation.
