In the Grand Court today, March 6, 2026, Ezekai Ezekiel Carter Jr. faced allegations of possession of an imitation firearm and attempted robbery, stemming from an incident in October 2025. Carter Jr entered not guilty pleas to both counts during his arraignment before Justice Richards

Regarding the attempted robbery, it is alleged that on October 13, 2025, at the intersection of McField Lane and School Road in George Town, Carter attempted to steal $5 from a man. The particulars allege that Carter used force against the man immediately before or at the time of the attempt, in order to facilitate the theft.

The second allegation involves possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offense, under the Firearms Act. According to the charge, on the same date and at the same location, Carter allegedly had an imitation firearm in his possession.

Carter’s trial is now set for July 13, 2026, and will be on bail until that date.

Carter is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
