Jessica Lovina Ebanks appeared in the Summary Court today, June 30,2026, to face several charges.  She pled not guilty to the allegations put to her and was bailed until her next court appearance in August 2026.

Regarding all the charges Ebanks faces, these were outlined as follows:

** Common assault
** Criminal trespass
** Assault causing actual bodily harm
** Stalking
** Use of an ICT network to abuse, annoy or harass
** Driving whilst impaired
** Failing to provide a specimen of urine
** Failing to provide a specimen of blood
** Using a vehicle with expired registration Careless driving
** Failing to surrender to custody
** Unlawful use of a vehicle
** Driving without insurance

Concerning the charges actually put to Ebanks in court, Magistrate McFarlane said it was alleged that, on March 6, 2026, Ebanks unlawfully assaulted a woman on Eclipse Drive.

It was also alleged that on or before November 26, 2025, Ebanks knowingly used an ICT network to abuse, annoy or harass a woman.

It was further alleged that, in August 2025, Ebanks intentionally engaged in a course of conduct directed toward a man on two or more occasions, causing him to fear for his safety.

Next, it was alleged that on August 25, 2025, Ebanks entered the George Town Landfill without permission.
Further alleged that, on the same day and at the same location, Ebanks unlawfully assaulted a man, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.

Regarding the traffic offences, Magistrate McFarlane noted that these will be heard on another day at which time Ebanks may make pleas.

Ebanks was released on bail to return to court on August 6, provided she keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  A breach of these conditions may lead to a revocation of her bail and imprisonment.
