Gregory Myles appeared in the Summary Court today, July 1, 2026, to face a charge of burglary. He was remanded in custody until his home address could be verified by the court.
According to the description of the burglary in court, the break-in occurred between December 23 and January 3, with signs of prolonged occupation (bathroom use, and ransacking. Reportedly, Myles’ DNA was found on a beer bottle in a fridge. No other details were provided in court.
When it came to bail discussions, it was noted that Crown Counsel from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions did not oppose bail, however, bail would not be granted until Myles’ home address was verified.
Bail conditions, once verified, will include:
- Electronic monitoring
- Curfew from 8pm to 8am
- Reporting to George Town police station on Mondays and Fridays (9am to 4pm)
He was remanded until the address was confirmed. The matter was set for mention on July 21.
