Construction Update: Roadways and Storm Water Management (SWM) at East End Affordable Land Lots

The Ministry of District Administration and Lands (MDAL), with design and project management services from the Public Works Department (PWD), advises of ongoing construction activities for the “Construction of Roadways and Storm Water Management (SWM) at East End Affordable Land Lots” project, located at Block 75A, Parcels 40REM1, 41, 42 & 362. Upon completion, this initiative will provide access to approximately 50-55 affordable residential land lots, enhancing accessibility and facilitating community development.

It is essential to note that the site is an active construction zone. Trucks and other heavy vehicles will be entering and exiting the area daily until the end of December. Additionally, well-drilling activities may cause water to flow onto nearby roadways, creating potential hazards that could be worsened by increased rainfall. Traffic management measures, including signs, are in place to protect drivers.

Road users are urged to exercise extra caution during this period, as our team works diligently to manage these operations safely.
