Deputy Governor Says Non-Essential Civil Service Staff May Work Remotely Today, September 25

According to a notice from Deputy Governor Franz Manderson, “any non-essential staff affected by flooding or
school closures may work remotely today, Wednesday, 25 September, with manager approval.” The Deputy Governor said this measure is being implemented due to “continued adverse weather impacts, including heavy rain, wind and continued flooding in certain areas and roadways.”

Regarding other Government workers, the Deputy Governor said, “All essential services will operate as normal
and essential employees should report to work as scheduled.”

It is understood that the Government will issue further updates if there are any changes to the above.
