After setting two world records in the Men’s 50M Freestyle at the World Aquatics Swimming Championships in Budapest yesterday, Jordan Crooks won gold in the finals today, December 15, 2024. His time was 20.19.
Winning the finals, Crooks was ahead of Guilherme Santos (Brazil) and Jack Alexy (United States).
Crooks is now etched in history for being the only person ever to swim sub-20 earlier in the event and the first person from the Cayman Islands to win gold.
