Man Pleads Guilty To Importing 29 Pounds Of Ganja Into Owen Roberts International Airport

Clinton Ronald Tynes appeared in the Summary Court today, December 9, 2024, to face charges of possession of ganja with intent to supply and importation Of ganja. He pled guilty to both charges.
Background
As explained in the Summary Court, on November 28, 2024, Tynes imported approximately 13.57 kilos (29 pounds, 14.64 ounces) into the Owen Roberts International Airport. He was charged with intent to supply and possession of ganja.
Next steps
Having heard guilty pleas from Tynes, Justice McFarlane ordered that a social inquiry report be done to assist with the sentencing on January 13, 2025.
