Man Pleads Not Guilty To Possession Of MDMA, Cocaine, Ganja & Crack Pipe

Matthew Kyle Forrest appeared in the Summary Court on January 14, 2025, to face charges of possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of ganja with intent to supply, possession of a drug utensil and possession of MDMA with intent to supply.  Forrest pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Background

Concerning the cocaine charge, it was explained in the Summary Court that on April 11, 2024, Forrest had in his possession 3.5 ounces of cocaine with the intent that it be supplied.

On the same date, he was charged with possession of 2 pounds of ganja with intent to supply.

Additionally, he was charged with possession of one crack pipe.

Lastly, he was charged with possession of 140 MDMA capsules weighing approximately 0.77 ounces, with the intent to supply.

Next steps

Following the not-guilty pleas, the Chief Magistrate set the trial date for April 9.
