Gary Edward Parchment pleaded not guilty in Summary Court today, November 19, 2024, to charges of making a threat to kill and using threatening words. He was bailed to return to Court at a later date.
Regarding the threat to kill and causing fear or provocation of violence, it is alleged that on April 2, 2024, while at Foster’s Supermarket in Savannah, he used threatening words towards a woman, saying, “I will chop you up and send you back to your country” with intent to cause the woman to believe that immediate violence would be used against her.
Concerning another charge, it is alleged that on the same date, Parchment made a threat to kill a woman, intending that she would be fearful and that the threat would be carried out.
Lastly, on April 14, 2024, it is alleged that Parchment used threatening words “I will kill you” towards a woman on Pedro Castle road.
After pleading not guilty to all charges, Parchment was bailed to return to Court on December 5.
