Water Authority-Cayman wishes to advise its valued customers, and the motoring public of wastewater infrastructure upgrade works along West Bay Road, near Kintyre Drive (opposite Treasure Island).
Preliminary activities will take place on Tuesday, 1 October 2024 with the main works beginning soon thereafter, weather permitting. This work is anticipated to continue for approximately two weeks.
During this time, the southbound lane of West Bay Road will be partially obstructed. However, the Water Authority and its contractor will maintain two-way traffic throughout. Traffic signs will be in place in the general vicinity of the works.
All motorists are asked to drive with caution and follow all signs when in the area to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of the Water Authority and its contractor’s staff.
The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public as it upgrades its wastewater infrastructure and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
