Just after 8 am on 2 September, police responded to a report of a burglary at a commercial property located on West Bay Road, George Town. The incident is believed to have taken place in the early hours of the morning, but it was only discovered when the staff reported to work just before 8 am.
It was reported that a safe, believed to contain cash, was stolen from the location. The burglar also disturbed other aspects of the office space during the incident.
The police are investigating this incident, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Anonymous tips can also be provided directly to the RCIPS via the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777 or via the RCIPS website.
