The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said that shortly before 2:50 am today, 21 September, officers responded to a report of an altercation in the parking lot of the Strand Entertainment Complex on West Bay Road. It was reported that one man had been armed with a knife and another man had brandished a firearm and fired shots into the air. No injuries were reported. Officers attended the location and recovered a number of spent shell casings.
The matter is currently under investigation by George Town CID. Anyone with information is asked to contact 949-4222.
