Diego Alexander Bodden and Matthew Anthony Whittaker appeared in the Grand Court on June 27, 2025, to face allegations of robbery and unlicensed firearm possession. They pleaded not guilty to the charges. Their trial is expected to commence in November 2025.
Background
Regarding the robbery charge, it is alleged that on December 12, 2024, Bodden and Whittaker robbed Marvis Ebanks of a quantity of cash.
Concerning the second charge, it is alleged that on the same date, they had in their possession an imitation firearm with the intent to commit robbery.
The court extended their bail until November 11, 2025, when their trial by jury is expected to occur.
