Police Ask Members Of The Public To Remove Vehicles Parked Illegally On Roadway

Police are informing persons who parked their vehicles on roadways to immediately remove them.

Police explained that these vehicles were placed in these locations to protect them from the hurricane; however, the threat has now passed. 

Police also advised that parking on a bicycle and pedestrian lane is illegal under the Traffic Act and poses a safety risk for other road users.

Police patrols will be assessing areas for any vehicles that remain.
