The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said that shortly after 1 am on Monday, July 15, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a restaurant on Eastern Avenue, George Town.
It was reported that an employee was completing close-up preparations for the night when a masked man appeared through the food service hatch, brandishing a firearm and demanding money.
The employee gave the suspect a quantity of money, and he escaped on a bicycle heading along Eastern Avenue in the direction of Shedden Road.
The suspect is described as male, around 30 years old, 5`10″ tall, of slim build, with light brown skin and spoke with a Caymanian accent. He wore gloves, a mask covering his face, and a hooded jacket.
