Man Denies Indecent Assault & Abuse Of Trust Allegations Concerning A 13-Year-Old

A man appeared in the Grand Court today, August 24, 2026, to face several allegations, including indecent assaults, abuse of trust, and inviting a child to participate in sexual activity. He pled not guilty to all charges.

For the first allegation, the court heard that, on multiple occasions between January 2023 and June 2024, the man indecently assaulted the complainant by touching her vagina.

The second allegation was indecent assault by touching her breasts.

The third and fourth allegations were abuses of trust, whereas it was alleged that the man touched her vagina and touched her breasts.

The fifth and sixth allegations were inviting a child to participate in a sexual activity, whereas it was alleged that the man invited the complainant to shave her pubic hair and share a hotel room.

Opening arguments from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions are expected on August 25, 2026.
