Kevardo Anthoney Headley appeared in the Summary Court on January 14, 2025, to face charges of possession of ganja with intent to supply, possession of cocaine and consumption of ganja. He entered a mix of guilty and not-guilty pleas.
Background
Regarding the ganja, it was explained in the Summary Court that on September 5, 2024, on Greenwood Drive, George Town, Grand Cayman, Headley was alleged to have 2.56 pounds of ganja with the intent to supply it. He pleaded guilty to the consumption of ganja and simple possession of ganja but not to the intent to supply it.
Additionally, he was found with 4.98 grams (0.87 ounces) of cocaine on the same date and at the same address. He pleaded not guilty to this.
Next steps
A case management hearing is expected to be held on March 6, 2025.
