Man Pleads Not Guilty To Causing Death Of Cyclist Per Undheim By Dangerous Driving

Anthony Devin Berry Jr appeared in the Grand Court today, July 10, 2026, to face dangerous driving charges in connection with the death of cyclist Per Undheim last year.  Berry pled not guilty to the charges and his bail was extended to his trial date in February 2027.

Regarding the first charge, it was alleged that on April 21, 2025, Berry drove his Subaru Forester motor vehicle dangerously on Bodden Town road and caused the death of Per Undheim.

Concerning the second count, it was alleged that on the same date and location, Berry drove the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, thereby causing the death of Per Undheim.

In the case of the third offence, it was alleged that, on the same date and location, Berry drove in a manner that was dangerous to the public, having regard to all the circumstances of the case, including the nature, condition, and use of the road, and the amount of traffic which was actually on the road at the time, or which might reasonably be expected to be on the road.

Berry will now face a jury trial on February 1, 2027, which is expected to last ten days.
