Tarrick Kevin Crawford appeared in the Grand Court today, July 11, 2025, to face two allegations of causing death by dangerous driving. The first incident occurred in November 2020 when Chuck Elvis Ebanks died. The second occurred in January 2021 when Shayne Anthony Ewart lost his life. Crawford pleaded not guilty to these and other allegations outlined below. He will now face trail on November 17, 2025.
Background
Regarding indictments 64 & 65, it is alleged that:
**On January 16, 2021, Crawford drove a Honda Accord dangerously on West Bay Road, thereby cause the death of Shane Anthony Ewart.
**On the same date, along West Bay Road, Crawford inflicted grievous bodily harm against a person.
Concerning indictment 23/23, it is alleged that:
**On November 7, 2020, Crawford drove a motorcycle dangerously on Powell Smith Drive in West Bay, causing the death of Chuck Elvis Ebanks**
**On the same date, Crawford caused the above death by dangerous driving while unlicensed.
**On the same date, Crawford caused the above death by dangerous driving while his motorcycle was uninsured.
Next steps
Crawford was remanded in custody to his trial date on November 17, 2025.
