Kacia Jovia Williams-Scott and Shawn Clifford Scott Jr. appeared in the Grand Court on July 10, 2026, to face allegations related to the unauthorised use of a bank card. Their bail was extended to July 24, 2026.
Regarding the charges, it was alleged that between July 31, 2023, and August 4, 2023, Shawn Clifford Scott Jr. dishonestly obtained services in the amount of USD 795.26 by falsely representing that he had authorisation to use Ms GOW’s USD Butterfield Bank Mastercard to obtain services.
Concerning Kacia Jovia Williams-Scott, it was alleged that between July 27, 2023 and August 3, 2023, she dishonestly obtained property in the amount of USD 1,105.88 by falsely representing that she had authorisation to use the USD Butterfield Bank credit card of Ms GOW to make personal purchases.
Between the same dates, it was alleged that Kacia Jovia Williams-Scott dishonestly obtained services in the amount of USD 937.02 (886.20 + 50.82) by falsely representing that she had authorisation to use the USD Butterfield Bank credit card of Ms GOW to obtain services.
