Today, August 18, 2026, Keniel Barrington Braham appeared in the Summary Court to face allegations of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and ganja possession. He pled guilty to the charges.

Regarding the first count, the Chief Magistrate said it was alleged that, on May 6, 2026, on Guy Banks Road, Little Cayman, Braham had in his possession cocaine with intent to supply.

The remaining counts were allegations of possessing Ganja with intent to supply, the Ganja having been found in different places around the same property: 3.12 ounces in two glass mason jars kept in a container; 0.24 of an ounce in a chest of drawers in a bedroom; 1.95 ounces in a transparent container marked “GLAD”; 0.69 of an ounce in a glass mason jar on a chest of drawers in a bedroom; and 7.90 ounces in two plastic bags kept in the kitchen fridge.

A further count of possessing drug utensils was initially put to Braham.  However, the Chief Magistrate declined to proceed with it because it was not sufficiently particularised.

Two traffic charges — including driving without insurance, dated December 2025 — were dismissed by the Chief Magistrate because they were “out of time.”

The Chief Magistrate ordered a pre-sentencing report, to be prepared whether Braham is in custody or on bail, and fixed a bail application for September 2, on which date he is to be produced in person. Noting that he may be considered a flight risk given the likely sentence, she directed that the bail application be put to the Crown in writing. Sentencing was scheduled for October 21.
