Taniesha Antoinette Gordon appeared in the Summary Court today, July 14, 2026, to face allegations of causing harassment, alarm or distress and misuse of an ICT network. Gordon placed on bail with conditions.
Regarding the allegation of harassment, alarm or distress, contrary to Section 88B of the Penal Code (2026 Revision), it was alleged that Gordon displayed an image of a man performing a sexual act, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
Concerning the second charge, it was alleged that, on the same date, Gordon knowingly used an ICT network, namely Whatsapp, to defraud, abuse, annoy, threaten or harass the man.
Gordon is expected to return to court on August 11, 2026.
In the meantime, her bail conditions are as follows:
** $2,500 surety must be provided
** Her passport must be surrendered
** Zero contact with the complainant (including no social-media posting about him or the case)
** She must live-and-sleep at the address given to the court
** Reporting to George Town police station on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
