Jerrice Atina Wright appeared before the Chief Magistrate today, August 18, 2026, where she faced one charge of theft. Outlining the background, the Chief Magistrate said it was alleged that, on April 27, 2026, Wright stole two bags of shrimp, a pack of chicken and a bottle of Advil painkillers, together valued at CI$73.99, the property of Foster’s Food Fair on Countryside on Hirst Road. Wright pled not guilty to the allegation.
The court was told there was some CCTV in the matter, and the Chief Magistrate directed that disclosure — including the CCTV footage — be provided so that the defence could review it before trial.
With the charge contested, the Chief Magistrate directed that a case-management date and a trial date be fixed. As a condition of her bail, the Chief Magistrate barred Wright from every Foster’s Food Fair location.
