Alric Lindsay is the founder of Blackbox Insights & News, where he reports regularly on court proceedings in the Cayman Islands. Prior to establishing Blackbox, he was a journalist with Loop Caribbean, which was owned by the Digicel Group until Loop was discontinued. Alric focuses on Summary Court proceedings since that court handles thousands of cases annually, but rarely publishes the magistrate's ruling. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the Cayman Islands financial services industry to his reporting, having previously qualified as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands (non-practising) and as a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia, USA (non-practising). His career spans roles at offshore "magic circle" firms, the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and a Big 4 global accounting firm. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, an Accredited Director, and a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association. He can be reached at alriclindsay@gmail.com
